Buying Guidance
Ferrite drivers trade some weight for lower cost versus an equivalent neodymium driver — a reasonable choice for fixed cabinets that won't be flown or carried repeatedly. Confirm voice coil diameter and impedance match your cabinet's existing crossover design before ordering.
Maintenance
Ferrite magnet assemblies are mechanically robust but can lose some field strength under sustained extreme heat — keep drivers away from direct sun/heat exposure during storage.
